Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

This slow cooker honey garlic chicken cooks chicken breasts in a simple soy sauce, honey, garlic, and apple cider vinegar sauce until tender and shreddable for an easy versatile meal prep dinner ready with almost no effort.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup chicken broth
  • 2–3 chicken breasts

Method
 

  1. Add the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and chicken broth to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and turn to coat them in the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreddable.
  4. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  5. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to coat it in the sauce.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for another 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the chicken to soak up the sauce.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite sides or use it in wraps, sandwiches, or bowls.
